“If you have any good thoughts they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely”

– Roald Dahl
Have you ever met someone who just lights up the room when they walk in? I mean, I’m sure you have. Everyone has at least once in their lifetime. You want to be around that person all the time. To have some of their joy and sunlight rub off on you. To have whatever they have so you can be just as beautiful. Not the beauty that is seen as physical and is admired by everyone in the world, but the beauty that radiates from the inside that shines through them. Its something we all want to possess and obtain. What’s the secret to having what those “sunny” people have ?
Well here it is: It’s becoming full of inner joy and peace, having good and kind thoughts starting from within, being a genuine person, whether it’s when your in a crowd or alone in a room. It’s who you are on the inside that generates the sunlight that others see.

Mary possess that sunlight. She’s always beaming. I truly believe its because of who she is on the inside that makes her so beautiful and lovely. She’s the definition of “Roald Dahl’s” quote above. When your around Mary you truly feel like the most special person ever. She has the gift of making you want to become a better person. She could pass as a model in my mind, as a fashion model and a role model.

Having her as a friend is truly a gift. I cherish each and every moment we get to spend together. We may not always get to spend as much time as we would like together but the time that we do spend together is worth the length of time from when we last saw each other. When we finally get a time to hang out it most likely will involve food, good conversation, and of course…..TAKING PICTURES! We always try to find a great spot that will be a beautiful and artistic location for pictures. This time around we got lucky with this find…

What a hidden gem!!! I mean, who wouldn’t want to go here and wear a white dress, have curly golden hair and pretend your a model or even a princess for a little bit. When I first saw this Water Tower at Oakbourne Park on my Pinterest newsfeed I figured it was at some remote location far far far away from me where lucky brides go to take their dreamy wedding pictures. Ha…I got lucky this time. I didn’t just get to pin the picture on my board of “Dreamy places”…. I got to go there!! It was 20mins away from me!! I texted Mary and told her I found the perfection location for our next meet up.

Oakbourne Park was perfect!

The evening sunlight.

The glow it cast on Mary.

The multiple spots it offered to take stunning pictures

The architecture

It all was stunning and gave us SO many picture choices that Mary and I had the hardest time deciding on which ones were our favorite #girlproblems

Despite the summer heat and Mary locking her keys in her car (don’t worry, triple A saved us with a coat hanger), we had an amazing evening together and got some amazing pictures!!

Can’t wait to see what other hidden treasure locations we will find in the near future for our next meet up and photoshoot! Urban feel maybe? Lets see what the city has to offer us!
