Brick Gables Lititz PA Wedding: Mackenzie + Dillon

April 14, 2016

Mackenzie and Dillon: these two are the most relaxed and laid back couple that I know, and in saying that, this made their wedding day that much more enjoyable. They were married at Brick Gables Barn in Lititz PA, a gorgeous venue with the rustic charm of a barn, yet new and updated; which made for the perfect setting for pictures. Being there capturing Mackenzie and Dillon’s day, getting to experience their union centered solely on their faith, and seeing them surrounded by the ones they love, was humbling and something I’ll never forget. I’ve been so blessed to not only have been able to have Mackenzie and Dillon as my first wedding couple to photograph, but also to have gained two new friends out of it!

By far, my favorite detail shots to date! These rings and little wedding details were perfect; Mackenzie and Dylan did a great job of making the details reflect who they are.

Dillon and his Groomsmen were such a fun group to work with! They were constantly laughing and cracking jokes which made it that much easier to capture the joy of the day.

This dress wasn’t the typical princess, ballgown gown that most brides wear, but it was perfect for Mackenzie; simply elegant and beautiful, laid back, with a southern vintage look to it.

What a beautiful bride Mackenzie made! She had a constant smile on her face the whole day.

My favorite moment of the day was Mackenzie and Dillon’s first look! From the moment I saw Mackenzie for the first time that day, she was beaming with excitement and joy at seeing her groom to be for the first time. As was Dillon. The anticipation I felt from both of them was thrilling.

For the formal shots, we headed over to Lititz Springs Park in downtown Lititz, which offered some great spots for pictures!

The moment between the bride and her parents is one that will ALWAYS touch my heart! I’ll forever love the moments right before the bride becomes Mrs., when the parents savor the time they have with their daughter.

Then the two became one!

Mackenzie and Dillon threw in a surprise dance after their first dance together! From the jumping in the air, to the crazy monkey looking moves, these two soaked up all the laughter and smiles.
