Idaliz’s Quinceanera at the Wagontown Fire Hall

Remember that stunning girl in the Cinderella- like blue dress with the converse sneakers I took pictures of at Longwood Gardens a few months ago? (if you didn’t get a chance to check out that blog post you can view it here >> Idaliz at Longwood Gardens.) Well last month I had the privilege of taking pictures at her Sweet 16 party at the   Wagontown Fire Hall. With close to 200+ guests and lots of colors, Idaliz’s Quinceanera went off with a banging success!! From the decor, to the food, to the choreographed dances, the party was one that I will never forget! Having never been to a Quinceanera before, I wasn’t quite sure what I was expecting..but sometimes it’s events like this one where I like to be surprised and actually can wait to see what’s in store.

Idaliz greeted her guests in her stunning blue dress in the banquet hall at the Wagontown Fire Hall, accompanied by her friends she chose to be in her Court of Honor. Not sure what a Court of Honor is? Well its special friends that the Quinceanera chooses to share in the spotlight with her. The girls wore colorful dresses, and the boys who accompanied them wore matches suspenders. Throughout the evening they were definitely in the spotlight: from the long table they sat at in the front of the room, to the several choreographed dances they did together. The Court of Honor and Idaliz ate the attention right up!

My favorite part from the evening was the joy that was so present in the room! Idaliz’s friends and family did a great job of capturing Idaliz’s personality and recreating that for the party. There was so much laughter and smiles all around that I couldn’t capture it all fast enough! haha Once the party got started, and the dancing began, I found it hard to leave the camaraderie.
